Mary McMahon

Mary Anne McMahon is a former elementary teacher. She also owned and operated a puppet performing business before becoming an author of children’s books. Her goal in all of her professions has been to not only academically educate children, but to guide children toward a meaningful life. She has always wanted children to learn acceptance, kindness, and resilience. She has often stressed that difference is okay and may be a gift that leads to a fulfilling life.

Jennifer Bucciero Boyles has been a dedicated high school counselor for twenty-eight years. She witnessed her father endure multiples sclerosis throughout most of her life. Now as a parent and author she wants to reach out and help other children and parents who may be struggling with some type of challenge. She feels it is important to show families that different can be okay and that families can find happiness in difficult circumstances.
